National Art Gallery of the Generations Fund
District art gallery is the first in the Okrug expositional center which is organised according to the international standards.
Today, the gallery collection includes about 300 works and consists of several main parts: ancient Russian icon painting, Russian paintings and drawings, decorative arts and sculpture. It presents the works of the masters of the Orthodox Russian art, such as: Rokotov, Tropinin, Repin, Aivazovsky, Surikov, Levitan and many other great Russian artists. In addition, the expositions in the hall of temporary exhibitions are changed monthly.
The House – Museum of the National Artist of the USSR V.A. Igoshev
VA Igoshev is a Russian artist, who devoted more than 40 years to the Yugra land, working for a long time in remote taiga settlements, nomads camps of herders and hunters. The paintings tell about the pride of the Siberians - the majestic nature of the North, the beauty of ancient traditional crafts of the Khanty and Mansi, the originality of the characters of the people inhabiting the earth with the poetic name Yugra.
The Museum of Nature and Man
We suggest you to visit the exposition "The Link of Times": first floor is set for "The Historical time", the second – for "The Mythological time." The first goes through ages from antiquity to modern times, the second reflects the path of the human in mytho-ritual context. The chronological epochality of the first part of the exposition and an image shaped form of the second create that particular “Link of Times” in which the reality of history intersects with the reality of the myth. "The Rhythm of the biosphere" is the final part of the exposition "The Link of Times". The basic idea is the ability of all living things to adapt to the changing conditions of existence. All visitors can see and feel how Nature goes quiet when a man appears, hiding, watching him and waiting patiently for him to go away.

Ethnographic Open Air Museum "Torum-Maa"
Entering its territory you get to the world of life of the ancient inhabitants of Zapadno-Sibirskaya Ravnina (West Siberian Plain). Exhibition is represented by such architectural constructions, as "The Khanty summer nomads camp", "Winter settlement of the northern Mansi," "The Ob-Ugrian Sanctuary." The Khanty artist G.S. Raishev cut wood images of ancient idols here.
The Centre of Applied Art and Crafts
Once inside the museum, you will continue getting acquainted with the culture and crafts of the northern peoples. You will be able to buy national souvenirs and products made of birch bark, wood, ivory, fur and beads. Besides, the museum is constantly updating expositions devoted to crafts, including items from different Russian cities.

Acquaintance with the work of the original Khanty artist will help to understand the philosophy of life the Ob-Ugrian peoples. In his remarkable paintings the artist reflected the beauty of the Siberian land, its history and culture, and unique characters of people, inhabiting Yugra. In his works V.A. Igoshev combines two powerful traditions in the art of the XX century - realism and impressionism. The works of V.A. Igoshev are retained in museums of Russia and in those of the former Soviet countries. The total quantity of works preserved in museum collections, including the Tretyakov Gallery and the Russian Museum, contains more than two hundred and fifty works. A lot of pictures were sold to people from all over the world and entered the collections of foreign art galleries and private collections; there are about two hundred masterpieces of his in Japan only.
